The Visit:

A short time after Dragon Con, imagine my surprise when I get a call from Dawn asking if she could some to visit me in Atlanta. When she mentioned this, I honestly thought she wanted to like meet for dinner, but when I asked her what area of town she was going to be staying in, she said, "Can I stay with you?" I was shocked, she doesn't even know me. Later I found out that her mom wanted her to hang out with me, because her mom just really thought I was a great guy. WOW! Mom, I never did tell you thank you.

So when we were planning out little night on the town, I asked her if I could photograph her. She automatically got defensive because she said that a lot of men say that to her and want something else. I truly just meant that. She said that she would think about it. When she got to my house (after getting lost like everyone does the 1st time) she showed up with a bottle of Champagne. I turned on the cam, setup my studio light and we took some pictures (yes I had pink hair).

We met up with Vortex at the Coronet Club and some of his friends then Tat2rob showed up and Dawn, Tat2Rob and I headed to Buckhead to go Swingdancing.

I had never laughed so much as I did that night. I learned somethings that night that I truly wish I hadn't, but it was all in all a very fun time. I also learned that Dawn likes to go out on the town, then about 4am, drive back home so she can sleep in her own bed. I hate driving, so I could not fathom that.
